That is the situation with Mass Bay Community College and its lease of the Farley Building. For leases of space from a third party for the support of the School Department, such as the lease of space at the Perini Building, the lease generally requires authorization by the legislative body, formerly Town Meeting, now the City Council.

We continue our work with Mass Bay Community College to expand dual enrollment opportunities and are exploring new potential partnerships with their Biotechnology program. Moving forward we are looking to strengthen these partnerships and our out of school time programs through increased fundraising. It is our mission to ensure high quality sustainable programs for all students in the Framingham Public Schools.
