Background The Union represents a unit of employees employed by the Massachusetts Department ofCorrection (Employer). There are over 4000 employees in the unit. 1 On December 11, 2015, John Hunter (Hunter) filed a charge against the Union in case number SUPL 15-4987 that is identical to Pontes charge.
Servello, counsel for HRD and counsel for the Department ofCorrection (DOC). HRD subsequently filed a Motion for Summary Decision and the Commission received a reply from 1 Mr. Servello as well as Mr. Servellos Motion for Summary Decision. DOC submitted an affidavit in response to my request regarding DOCs experience with managers taking COIII promotional exams. Mr.

This case has no bearing on the issue at hand: may the Agency terminate a NAGE member who has been on Industrial Accident Leave barely more than a year.
Subsequent to the inten,ention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department ofCorrections (Department) provided you a response dated September 26, 2017 (Please find enclosed). Dooley Summary of Decision The Commission denied the bypass appeal of a candidate seeking appointment as a police officer, concluding that the City of Brockton had reasonable justification to bypass him based upon inconsistent responses about his residency history during the application process and the deliberate omission of prior employment attempts with the Massachusetts Department ofCorrection (DOC).
