Prior to working in Medford, Linehan worked for the City of Somerville. When Medford hired Linehan, it denied his request to take his accrued Somerville vacation time into his new Medford role. Show Cause Dismissal (Contd) MUPL-22-9654 Linehan asserts that between 1997 and 2020, he learned of two other employees who the Employer allowed to carry over accrued vacation time from former employers.
