Guerin, Ronald v. City of New Bedford 7/17/08
1 document · · Civil Service Commission ·
Instead of suspending the Appellant, which would permanently blemish his employment record and preclude him from promotions in the future, the Chief and the attorney for the Police Union discussed a proposed settlement that would include a counseling program. The Chief testified that he did not want this situation to mar [the Appellants] career. I found the Chief to be credible on this point. (Testimony of Chief Teachman) 8 21.
