During his time with the Middlesex Sheriffs department, Stock acquired numerous commendations, good conduct medals, and outstanding service awards. Stock was hired by the City as a reserve police officer in 2003 prior to becoming a full-time patrolman in 2008. Stock had never been disciplined by either the Middlesex Sheriffs department or the City of Woburn. Stock was terminated from the Woburn police department on July 11, 2012. (See JT#1).
