It is an independent state agency that organizationally reports to the Department ofVeteransServices. 3. The Soldiers Home addresses the needs and provides support to approximately 250 veterans 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Medical, nursing and clinical supports are given to those patients residing in the Long Term Care facility.
In the Homes August 27, 2020 response, the Home indicated that it . . . defined the requested records as communications sent by Superintendent Walsh and received by employees of Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS), Department ofVeteransServices (DVS) or Department of Public Health (DPH) relating to the outbreak of COVID 19 at the Holyoke Soldiers Home.
