Complaint and Partial Dismissal (cont'd) SUP-16-5546 The evidence presented at hearing demonstrated that Kenny attended training for union stewards in Canton, MA on April 8, 2016 from 9:30AM to 4:00PM, not including travel time. Although Kenny is normally paid 7.5 hours for a regular work day, she requested to be paid for 8 hours on the day of the training because of travel time.
Kenny was scheduled for a stewards training for the Union at a facility in Canton, MA. The training was to be from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Ms. Kenny requested and was granted Union release time and attended the training. Subsequently, when completing her weekly time sheet, Ms. Kenny requested that she be paid for an 8 hour work day. See Attachment 2. Ms. Buttrick initially did not approve this when approving payroll for that time period. Ms.
