On December 5, 2011, counts of the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office volle prossed seventeen of the nineteen ng the indictment, and on December 7,.2011, McCormack was found not guilty on the remaini two counts. On March 6, 2013, at the conclusion of its internal investigation, the State Police preferred 62 misconduct charges against MeCormack before a State Police Trial Board.
