The Union did represent me before the Civil Service Commission, but subsequently dismissed my claim as they ruled that they did not have jurisdiction over this particular matter, however, in that same letter from the Civil Service Commission with the above ruling, they closed out their notification letter with the following statement The Appellates recourse, however, would appear to be in another forum.
On September 24, 2009, MTA Field Representative Judie Kenney sent an email to Anderson confirming a conversation they had about filing an appeal of her involuntary transfer to the Civil Service Commission (CSC). The email stated: | want to confirm our conversation re: the civil service filing. | spoke with MTAs legal division. Matt Jones and Rich Melaine [sic] stated that it is unlikely that you will be successful with an appeal.
