Baker transferred from the Lexington, MA Police Department as a patrolman in 2003 where he had worked since 1996. Lester Baker is truly a cops cop and has worked his way up through the ranks to become a force for positivity in Framingham, said Mayor Spicer. We started the process of looking for our next Chief with 21 applicants and eventually whittled the field down to two very qualified candidates. Chief Baker impressed me at every turn.
Baker transferred from the Lexington, MA Police Department as a patrolman in 2003 where he had worked since 1996. Deputy Chief Baker exemplifies character, integrity, and strong leadership, said Mayor Spicer. His strong knowledge and experience with the Framingham Police Department will serve as an asset, as he continues to build a police department that reflects our community and values.
The Town of Brookline Joins the MPO Board The Town of Brookline has won the election for the At-Large Town seat on the MPO board that was recently vacated by the Town of Lexington. The Cities of Everett and Beverly and the Town of Medway were all re-elected. Brooklines designee will join the MPO board meeting today, November 5, 2020, at 10:00 AM.
