Included in the several Executive OfficeofPublicSafetyandSecurity bond act items is $25 million for a competitive grant program for fire departments to purchase firefighter safety equipment, including washer and dryer cleaning equipment for firefighter gear and safety equipment. Firefighting vehicles are not included.
Attached is a letter from the Executive OfficeofPublicSafetyandSecurity (EOPSS) dated May 12, 2015 along with a referenced attachment detailing the applicable timeline (total of three pages).1 The timeline includes information that Ms. Fox did not initially successfully complete an examination for miscellaneous substances (tablets, residues, phenethylamines) but after a period of remediation successfully completed the examination.
