CITY OF CAMBRIDGE LEAF BLOWER REGULATIONS Notice: Pursuant to Cambridge Municipal Code 8.16.081.4, the following Regulations were adopted on 9/12/16 by Public Works Commissioner Owen ORiordan and License Commission Chair Nicole Murati Ferrer.
I'm attaching again for a second time the Cambridge MA leaf blower ordinance regulations passed in 2016, this time with my highlights to show the salient points of the regs. The key adoption is that leaf blowers must meet EPA emissions rules and be rated for noise at under 65 DBs. I believe this is the heart of addressing the nuisance matter. The critique of this could be from commercial operators that they'll "never get the yards done."
