In the Town of Tewksbury, the Board addressed overtime opportunities during a coworker's medical leave. The Commission found that where the need for overtime was anticipated it was akin to scheduled overtime. The Board reasoned, "the injured lieutenant was expected to be off-duty for several months and the Town and the Union could anticipate that there was going to be a longterm absence on a regularly scheduled shift."
