Pursuant to the Commission's finding and Civil Service law, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Human Resources Division (HRD) conducted an investigation to reclassify the improperly hired employees into Civil Service titles. Subsequently, HRD determined that the Inventory Control Specialist position was the functional equivalent of a Storekeeper Ill, a Civil Service and bargaining unit title.
