Summary
Please provide all records and documents which indicate the hours worked, time billed, hours charged to paid time off, vacation or any and all other accounting of hours for any staff member or persons performing work for the City Solicitors office for the explicit time period of January 1, 2020 through the date you provide responsive records.   This request seeks all responsive records, including but not limited to electronic mail, hand written documents, electronic documents, timecards, database entries, badge swipes, computer logon/logoff and recordings in the possession, or under the control of the City of Malden. This request specifically seeks electronic documents and they are to be provided in the same manner in which they are regularly maintained, transmitted and/or stored. This request seeks all email communications, including those deleted by any party, stored in any folder, including the draft(s) folder. This request specifically seeks the email header information, all fields of the email, the body of the email, This request specifically seeks the email header information, all fields of the email, the body of the email, any attachments and all associated metadata and should be provided in whole through a .pst, .ost or .eml format.  If any responsive documents exist in a non-electronic format, please include an estimate of the actual costs to scan the documents and provide them electronically.  Please provide the responsive documents electronically to the email address info@openmalden.com.   This request seeks responsive documents in the format in which they are regularly maintained, including any and all electronic mail metadata. This request and all responsive documents are for express purposes of gathering information to promote citizen oversight and further the public understanding of the operation and activities of the City of Malden. Please be aware that under 18 U.S. Code § 2071 - Concealment, removal, or mutilation generally (a) Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both. (b) Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States AND In addition to other remedies provided by law, a violation of the Public Ethics Law shall be grounds to void any state action taken based on the violative act or acts. Additionally, the Commission may issue an order for restitution and a fine in the amount of the economic advantage gained by the violation or $500, whichever is greater. May also, upon approval of the Attorney General, order payment of additional damages in an amount not to exceed twice the advantage. Maximum damages a violator may be ordered to pay is $25,000, but the commission may bring a civil action if in excess of that amount. Mass. Gen. Laws Ann. ch. 268A, § 9. Corrupt gifts, offers or promises to influence official acts punished by a fine of no more than $100,000 or by imprisonment not to exceed 10 years, or both. Results in ineligibility to serve in any public office in the state. Mass. Gen. Laws Ann. ch. 268A, § 2. Other compensation for official duties punishable by a fine of not more than $10,000, imprisonment for not more than 5 years, or both. Mass. Gen. Laws Ann. ch. 268A, § 4. Violations of confidentiality or perjury requirements relating to a commission proceeding punishable by a fine of no more than $10,000, imprisonment for not more than 5 years, or both. Mass. Gen.
