Information Request Inbox x       Councilor Allis 11:48 AM (23 minutes ago)     to me, Geneva, Tammy, Karen, Mark, Mayor       Good morning Kathy,   In addition to the Information request for the Financial advisers contact info that I have sent 3 previous times, to which we have not received either a receipt confirmation or an answer, and the request for DPW building information that to my knowledge we still have not received any receipt confirmation or information.  I ask for the additional following information below.   There were numbers regarding the fire station build reported in the article in today's recorder.  While I understand that they are characterized as "a preliminary estimate"  but distributed publicly through the media ahead of a potential ballot question.. the timing makes it even more imperative that we have factual and correct information.  Please let this serve as a formal request to have these questions answered:   1)  Where did the cost estimate for the Firehouse come from can we please have a copy of the source documents or the name of the firm that has quoted us this amount? 2)  Has the grant referenced in the article been submitted, approved, or awarded to the city for the cleanup?  3)  Is the 2.3 Million dollar grant for the total cost of cleanup and are we as certain as we can be that that will cover the cost of cleanup?   4)  will the state provide a grant that is in excess of the total cleanup cost? 4)  Can we please have the breakdown of the $500/SF cost to build and the source documents of how the individual or firm got to that figure? 5)  does the $500/SF estimate include the cleanup cost which i assume will cost 2.3 million dollars.  and if that is the case am I correct that the 5.7 to 7.7 Million dollar figure means that it will be $356.25 - $385/SF is that correct?  6)  do these figures include any Water/Sewer funds potentially used to update the water and sewer infrastructure on the site? 7)  if not is it the plan to re-purpose authorized un-issued amounts to this project?   I look forward to seeing any and all information that was used in these calculations Brickett
