Whenever original public records are
created outside the government offices, they shall be transferred on a regular
and frequent basis to secure storage by the entity and made accessible to the public.
SOURCE media is requesting a waiver of all fees for these documents, as a digital news media outlet.
Disclosure of the requested information to the news outlet is in the public interest because it is likely to contribute significantly to public understanding of the operations or activities of the government during this pandemic.
The Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a written response within 10 business days.
If you cannot comply with my request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in writing on why a time extension is being requested.
