Under the Freedom of Information Act, SOURCE media is seeking all emails and texts between the City of Framingham's Facilities Director, Health Director and Assistant Health Director. Please consider this request to include any combination of emails or texts between these three city employees.
During this COVID pandemic, the City has had to make adjustments to its building and work environments due to the virus, under the direction of the city's health department.
Please include any emails on city-issued and personal devices (if they were used during COVID-19 for official business).
Please include any text messages on any cell phones paid for by the city.
(If personal cell phones were used to conduct city business, please be advised the state and the FOIA law consider those texts to be public as well. It is the news media's understanding that some city employees have been using their personal cell phones during COVID due to City Hall closed at times and the order for not all employees to be in the offices at the same time)
SOURCE is seeking communications between April 1 and September 22, 2020
As a representative of the news media, SOURCE requests a waiver of all fees for this request.
Disclosure of the requested information to the news outlet is in the public interest because it is likely to contribute significantly to public understanding of the operations or activities of the government during this pandemic.
Framingham is one of only a dozen high-risk communities in the state for the virus and as of today, the City of Framingham is one of only 6 communities out of 351 municipalities in the Commonwealth that the state is providing assisting to in dealing with a "dangerously" high level of transmission of the virus.
The Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a written response within 10 business days.
If you cannot comply with my request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in writing.

Capital Projects Request 2020-1297 regarding this request. Pursuant to MGL
Chapter 4 Section 7 Clause 26 (C) I have redacted the applicants home address,
city, state, zip code, email address and telephone number. The reason being is
the sited statue says in part “…information, also any other materials or data
relating to a specifically named individual, the disclosure of which may
constitute and unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.” Those things redacted
fit into this category.
