The Commission made the same finding in Town ofStoneham where unit and non-unit members had shared work for thirteen years. 39 MLC 1, 1, 5 (2012). It is evident from these cases that job duties that have only recently been taken on by a units members should not be recognized as duties traditionally performed by the bargaining unit.

Copelas requested "a copy of the full unredacted police report relative to a motor vehicle accident that occurred on June 21, 2019 in Stoneham, MA." Claiming to not yet have received a response from the Department, Ms. Copelas petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. It is my understanding that the Department had not seen this records request.
