The grievance procedure is the exclusive method for the adjustment, processing and settlement of a grievance. The District and the Association desire that such procedures shall be as informal as may be appropriate for the grievance involved at the procedural level involved.

Please be advised that | received word on Monday that the Teamsters have ratified a contract settlement for fiscal year 2009 that includes the implementation of the 4 day week and includes a negotiated 0% wage increase for Teamster employees. Lunch hours will be reduced and daily hours will be expanded slightly effective the week of January 4, 2009.
