Based on an email from the Attorney GeneralsOffice (AGO) to Mr. DeFusco and this office on November 15, 2022, I understand he has contacted the AGO concerning the Open Meeting Law issues. Given that an interpretation of the Open Meeting Law falls within the authority of the Office of the Attorney General and not this office, I decline to address those issues in this determination. We generally note that the Board discussed six topics: one threatened litigation matter, three additional ongoing litigation matters, the potential settlement of an Open Meeting Law complaint with the Attorney General'sOffice, and an update on proposed changes to the town charter that were under consideration by the Webster Charter Review Committee. DISCUSSION A public body may convene in executive session for any of ten statutory purposes.
Maloney wishes to pursue a discrimination complaint he may file with the Attorney General'sOffice Civil Rights Division at (617) 963-2917 or the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination at (617) 994-6000. o the meeting.

Please be advised that in a recent decision from the Attorney GeneralsOffice (AGO) regarding a similar matter, the AGO found that . . . a resume submitted as part of an Ellen Ishkanian Page 4 July 22, 2020 SPR20/1132 employment application falls within a core category of personnel information useful in making employment decisions, and is therefore absolutely exempt from disclosure under the first clause of Exemption (c).
Please be advised that in a 2019 decision from the Attorney GeneralsOffice (AGO) regarding a similar matter involving employee allegations and complaints, the AGO indicated it was not persuaded that the custodian was required by the Public Records Law to release the responsive complaints, even in redacted form.
