Coming out of the work of the Creative Economy Council report filed in 2013, this bill would task the Secretary of Housing and Economic Affairs in consultation with the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the Office of Travel and Tourism and the Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development with creating a statewide master plan for the creative economy with an emphasis on using existing cultural districts as critical resources.
