FACTS: Lewis was employed as an Adjunct Instructor at Bridgewater State University (University), a part-time position, beginning around 2014. She was represented by the Union in this position. Sometime before March 2016, Lewis applied denied. for a full-time faculty position at the University. Her application was On March 28, 2016, Lewis filed a grievance under the union contract over this denial.
