Garages in the rear of the building are used to store recycling materials and old equipment. Silva Test.; Testimony of Thomas Fritschy, Day 1 (Fritschy Test.); U. Ex. 2 (Photo 27); U. Ex. 3 (Photos 2, 6-7, 12). Building 4: This is an open building located in the center of the complex. It stores vehicles, including the Sewer Department vac truck, trailers, loaders, bobcats, and other machinery, as well as a salt pile in the winter.
Like most public works departments, DPW maintains garages, trades shops, trash dumpsters and recycling areas in a central location (the Yard). As such, Laborers report to the Yard for their daily assignments, obtain necessary equipment and vehicles and leave for their various citywide tasks.
The public drops off certain recycling materials next to the Salt Shed. 11) An area near Building 3 where street sweepings, which can include anything from used syringes to trash to drug paraphernalia, are dumped.

You continue to hire positions at salaries like this, you continue to provide free trash and recycle pick up for nonprofits throughout the city, you continue to have a personal driver/bodyguard provided by the taxpayers while we the working middle class and senior citizens will be looking at property tax increases, water and sewer bill increases, and cut backs in services in the city and yet you are adding another position to the tune of $125,000.00
