It is perplexing, at best, as to why a charge was submitted on June 4, 2012' with the Department ofLaborRelations (DLR) only to have the same matter filed to arbitration on June 14, 2012. Certainly, any attempt at forum shopping should be avoided at this preliminary stage where the DLR may maintain jurisdiction to review the result of an anticipated arbitration decision. The potential for an uneven and confusing result should also be avoided.
