Recycling and Solid Waste Information for Municipal Officials on COVID-19 On March 10, 2020, Governor Baker declared a State of Emergency to support the Commonwealths response to COVID 19. Since then, the Baker Administration has issued a number of additional Emergency Orders and guidance to support and inform this response. This document gathers together all of the guidance relative to solid waste and recycling issues for municipal officials.

Collection will occur on residents regular trash/recycling collection day. Yard waste/leaves will be collected for two weeks, April 20 - May 1, 2020. Brush will be collected the week of May 4 - 8, 2020. Please reference the following practices if you plan to take advantage of the curbside collection. On April 20, the City began its spring curbside collection on residents' regular trash/recycling collection days and will collect leaves through May 1. May 4-8 brush bundles will be picked up. Residents should reference this link to take advantage of the curbside collection. Yard waste and brush not conforming to the practices will not be collected and left at the curb.
