Stout requested, [a] copy of any correspondence, including attachments, reports, or addendums, sent to the attorney generals office by the Cannabis Control Commission concerning an investigation and findings into complaints against [an identified individual] ... of the commission. The AGO responded on October 13, 2023. Unsatisfied with the response, Mr. Stout petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/2470, was opened as a result.

It [the attorney generals office] responds by sending a warning letter saying the complaint raises concerns your business is not in compliance with the law ... business/cashless-fenway-gillette-td-boston-calling ... copies of any and all of these warning letters. The AGO responded on December 18, 2023. Unsatisfied with the response, Mr. Herman petitioned this office and this appeal, SPR23/3047, was opened as a result.

The BWSC additionally requests that it be permitted to "postpone submitting its response," whereas this office's determination to an appeal related to a similar request has been referred to the Attorney General's Office for enforcement and remains pending. G. L. c. 4, 7(26)(c), (e). See SPR19/0515 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (March 30, 2019; April 19, 2019).

Page 3 August 31, 2021 SPR21/2083 [T]he Attorney Generals Office has been actively involved in investigating and prosecuting MA State Police Troop E members accused of time submission and overtime abuse, and is currently actively prosecuting at least one case associated with the Troop E overtime investigations. That case is currently scheduled for trial in January of 2022.
