ARTICLE 10 GROUP INSURANCE BENEFITS The Town of Belmont has adopted the provisions of Chapter 32B of the Massachusetts General Laws mandating that it contribute 50% of employee group health insurance premiums. The Town of Belmont agrees to pay 50% of the premium costs for the PPO plan. For those employees hired before July 1, 2016, the Town of Belmont will contribute 80% towards the HMO plan.
