Section 4(f)(ii) of Chapter 58 gives the financial overseer the ability to adopt Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 32B for the purpose of obtaining health insurance from the Group insuranceCommission (GIC), if the transition to the GIC would provide some cost savings to the City.
