Any and all iterations of the Board of Trustee’s Bylaws, as changed through the years, including any alteration or delineation of Board composition, responsibility and role definition; The 1959 opinion referred to by the Board's attorney in a paper dated on or about 3/20/24, indicating "while the Malden Public Library deals with matters of public interest and concern, it is not a public authority in the usual sense"; The 2009 opining / Opinion of KP|LAW referred to in the same paper dated on or about 3/20/24; Any communications the Board of Trustees, or their representatives, have had with Commonwealth or City of Malden officials related to the 1959 and 2009 opinions mentioned; The FY23 annual Trustee report with accurate account of receipts and expenditures, as appears to be required timely but apparently has yet to be submitted to the City Council, in the original record, with attachments and correspondences as submitted to the City Council; Records of any votes taken in the last five years by the Board of Trustees; Any records of State Aid received for use by the Board of Trustees, whether held by City of Malden accounts or in any other way, whether in relation to any waivers from the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners or documented in any other way; Any letter of approval from the AGO for the sale of paintings, artwork, or other assets sold; The Board of Trustees rules, guidelines, or advisories on differentiated membership roles and responsibilities, including specific definitions or declarations of ex officio members, and how those roles differ from the roles of other Board members and when those role definitions changed; Meeting dates and attendance records for Board of Trustee meetings held over the last three years, whether in person or remotely.
