Who knew - and who didn't act. Who knew that Mahoney hadn't brought the matter up in the meeting... who didn't act. Ethically speaking - you would have failed.
You can still fix this - you can reach out to Stevens and ask her to rejoin as chair, and Kaprelaian too as a member - even if she already told you no. Mahoney must step down from the committee as a whole.
There is the honesty and transparency promise which this administration campaigned on - which we are finding laughable. Did you know - it is possible that the inaction by the administration to stop the discrimination in the CPC - could lead to a MCAD complaint. You knew about it and you did nothing. Evidence shows that you chose to meet with the perpetrator - and chose not to reach out to the victims. Multiple mayors office level people repeated this. Any ethics violations will be reported to the state - regardless of how high we go. Mayor Ottaviani - has a ring to it.
All we asked what that this administration not fuck up and that Frank Wood would go away. You failed us - and the only thing you can do now is either per transparent about what has happened historically or lie, and eventually the truth will come out. It only took us 18 months to get the truth on Sam Wong.... and dozens of PRR's.
