Wayte Avenue Framingham, MA 01702 Dear Ms. Kane: This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law (M. G. L. Chapter 66, Section 10). I am requesting that I be provided a copy of the following records: The audit of the Framingham High School athletic department that was presented to the Framingham School Committee on October 6. As written in an article published by the Framingham Source, the audit stated that the athletic program did not “meet compliance in any part of the three-part test.” I hope to obtain further details on the specifics of those shortcomings for my reporting with Capital News Service based out of College Park, Maryland. Thank you for considering my request and I hope to hear back from you within the ten day window the Massachusetts Public Record Law entails. If the request should take longer to process, please contact me to inform me when I should expect the copies of records. If my request is expected to be denied, please inform me of specific reasons for exemption and what I can do to appeal or rework my request.
