Dear Ms. Mulvey: This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law (MGL Chapter 66, Section 10).  I am requesting that I be provided a copy of the following records: The Dog Licensing records on file for your organization. Items specific: 1) Dog Location (address, city, state and zip) 2) Breed 3) Owner's Name Duration:  Current year 2017 The data will be used for informational purposes.  We do understand the data to be a matter of public record and if your office deems certain portions private, we ask that portion be removed and the remaining delivered. We would like this information delivered in an electronic database format, preferably Microsoft Excel or Access.  In the alternative, in a paper format.  Please provide any fees required to produce the file so we may remit payment. Please respond to this request within 10 days of receipt.  Please contact us at the number below should you have any questions. I recognize that you may charge reasonable costs for copies, as well as for personnel time needed to comply with this request.  If you expect costs to exceed $10.00, please provide a detailed fee estimate. The Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a written response within 10 calendar days.  If you cannot comply with my request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in writing.
