Select Board Chair Timmins,
I have recently received several responses to my last
public records request. However, there seems to be a misunderstanding as to the
records I am requesting. In an attempt to alleviate the confusion and clarify
what I am looking for I will be using a different request format. I will now be
making my request in a question format. As I am sure you as well as all
RAO's including SRAO (Super Records Access Officer) Dzuris and town counsel are
aware that an RAO is not required by the Public Records Law to answer questions
or create a record in response to a request; however, an RAO must provide any
records that exist that respond to a question.
That being said, please consider this email my new Public
Records Request.
1. What is Mr. Cohen's compensation and benefits
beginning 7/1/21? To clarify this question further, How much money will
he be paid? What are all the benefits will he be receiving including
those that do not have a monetary value? So I am clear, ANY and ALL benefits
that have a value to him in any fashion or manner as the employee. Should there
be any further confusion over what defines a "benefit" in this
matter I would be more than happy to speak with you.
2. Who determined what compensation and benefits Mr.
Cohen would receive beginning 7/1/21?
3. How was this determination made? What was the
basis for this determination? What was the guiding information that was used to
make this determination? If this was based on law please provide the statute
under the law or the applicable case law that supports the determination that
was used.
After receiving some of the previous public records which
included Munis reports, it is clear that Mr. Cohen no longer receives his $600
car stipend since 7/1/21.
4. How and by whom was the accounting/payroll
department notified to remove said payments? Please provide this
communication and any supporting documentation or files that Munis may
have created by making that change.
I hope this new public records request his helpful in
clarifying which public records I am still requesting.
Please provide my response within the timeframe required
under the Public Record's Law. Thank You.
