Subject: Request for Records - 07.06.2020 - Cohen
July 6, 2020
This is request for records.
Enclosed below please find old (July 2019) Verizon wireless phone bills credited to Town
Manager Paul Cohen. He uses two wireless phone numbers, two separate accounts; he claims are
exempt from disclosure to the Town tax payers. He directed Town Counsel at the expense of
approximately $2,850 to tax payers to protect them from disclosure. Town Counsel’s charges are
highlighted in yellow in December 2019 and January 2020 invoices enclosed below.
It’s unclear what type of wireless phone/devices Mr. Cohen’s accounts service and their
cumulative cost to the Town tax payers. I’m requesting Town provide digital copies of original
Verizon contracts for account #786801404-00001 and #481485108-00002. I’m also requesting
records of equipment purchases and/or rentals attributed to Mr. Cohen use.
Please contact me immediately if you need clarification as to what I’m requesting.
Sincerely,
Stanley Mazurczyk
